AXA Affin launches new product – Business Advantage Plus for F&B

AXA Affin General Insurance Berhad (AXA Affin GI) recently announced the launch of its new product, Business Advantage Plus for F&B, under the SME Business Packages range.

Business Advantage Plus for F&B is developed to cater to the specific protection needs of businesses within the food and beverage industry in Malaysia.

Operating any kind of food service business, be it a restaurant or a coffee shop, can be a rewarding venture. It can present its share of challenges, with unforeseen events potentially posing serious financial risks to F&B business owners if their businesses are not covered with the right and sufficient business insurance plan.

“Our Business Advantage Plus for F&B will help protect the business against a variety of exposure that entrepreneurs face, so they can focus on cooking up more business, worry-free,” said AXA Affin General Insurance Bhd CEO Emmanuel Nivet.

On an unrelated event, AXA Asia recently rolled out its latest regional health advertising campaign in four Asian countries. The campaign is being aired in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia.

Building on AXA’s commitment to ‘redefining standards’, the campaign sheds lights on AXA’s ‘New World of Health’ portfolio of health protection products.

The ‘Along my life’ campaign launched for Malaysian market depicts the issues faced by the high cost of medical bills and the impact those have on the family.

The campaign is part of a broader strategic emphasis by AXA Asia to expand its footprint in the Asia healthcare industry.

Against the backdrop of Asia’s booming demographics, a prevailing lack of adequate health insurance coverage across Asia, health represents major growth opportunities for AXA Asia.

AXA Asia has set aggressive targets to double the size of its regional health business between the end of 2012 and 2015.

To deliver this expansion across its eight regional markets, it has actively invested in broadening the range and depth of its product offerings, while in parallel building and strengthening health-specific capabilities both regionally and locally.

AXA Asia also builds on the capabilities of the worldwide AXA Group, which is a top-5 international health player, offering healthcare solutions with a global reach.
